At Sure-Fire, food is a way of life, we believe it reflects who we are and where we come from, it can be soothing or exciting, surprising...or even scary. It can provoke fierce discussions or elicit quite murmurs of agreement just as the flavours must do on the palate.  Be it wedding catering or film location buffet, canapés at a party or an exclusive dinner; we always deliver the tastiest, most sublime food together with our seamless and friendly service.

Our post modern approach to cooking incorporates influences from far and wide; the Pacific Rim, Morocco, Italy and France all held together by the Asian concept of balance. This creates unusual and exciting flavour combinations and lifts any dish; homely comforting fare, classics or one of our own.

About us

Sure-Fire is located in the southern suburbs of Cape Town and is owned by chef Craig Wobbe. Craig has worked as a private chef to Sol Kerzner and family, at Plum Restaurant in Greyton with Eve Collette of The Fire Station Catering, Chris Hoffman at Café des Arts and for many years at the famous Olympia Café and Deli in Kalk Bay.
