For us food is a way of life. We believe it is a lot more than just something on your plate; it reflects who you are and where you come from. It can be soothing or exciting, surprising...or even scary. It can provoke fierce discussions or elicit quite murmurs of agreement just as the flavours must do on the palate.
Our post modern approach to cooking incorporates influences from everywhere; the past and the future, the Pacific Rim, Morocco, France and Italy all held together by the Yin and Yang, the Asian concept of balance. This creates unusual and exciting flavour combinations and lifts any dish; homely comforting favourites, classics or one of our own.

Sure-Fire is located in the southern suburbs of Cape Town and is owned by chef Craig Wobbe. Craig has worked in places as diverse as Simply Chapat in Jozi, Rovos Rail, Plum and The Posthouse in Greyton, M/Y Cleopatra C in Antibes France, Fish Hoek in London's West End and the famous Olympia Café and Deli in Kalk Bay, Cape Town.
